Health Care Reform from Autumn's Perspective

Autumn and I watched President Obama sign the Health Care Reform Bill into law. Autumn was speechless. I haven't been able to get her exact opinion, but I know she had a hard time taking a nap that morning. Feel free to guess what she's thinking!

The hills are alive with the sound of music...

Our Saturday adventure started at Dry Canyon and continued along the Bonneville Shoreline Trail. When we got back in the car we saw a herd of about 70 deer grazing in a farmer's field.

Gabe the Amazing Babe

We got to visit Gabe and Brian and Carol on Saturday. Jonathan's family all came too and we had a nice lunch with everyone. Gabe was asleep when we got there but he got up in time for pictures.

There is about 6 months difference in age between Gabe and Autumn and 7 months between Autumn and Kloe.

Autumn needed to be changed on the way down. Not wanting to ruin the new Jeep, we found a nice soft strip of grass by the highway. Autumn was mortified no less. The picture doesn't do her anger justice.

Family Addition

We are thinking of naming our new Jeep something like Thunder. Our car would be Lightning. We are open to suggestions.

Autumn got her tooth and we all slept well

Autumn is so excited to get to go see baby Gabe. She's glad that she is no longer the youngest baby.

Congratulations Carol and Brian!

Carol gave birth to a 6 lb 14 oz baby boy at around 7:30 pm yesterday. Mom and baby are doing fine.

Three-and-a-half Teeth

Autumn is enjoying the backyard. She almost has a fourth tooth. It's the top right one coming in.

Happy 6 months Autumn.. or baby and the leprechaun juice

Autumn had a great time getting her picture taken. So much so, that she wanted to tell a story.

It all started when I was getting my picture taken.

My teddy bear Sam leaned over and gave me what he said was leprechaun juice.
I don't know where he got it from, but it tasted good.

Then I got really giggly.

My mom said I started eating my sock.

Just then an officer stopped by and asked me to take a sobriety test. What? You want me to recite my ABC's?

I was able to pass the test by eating my ABC's. Next time, I will find out what something is before I drink it.
Autumn would like to thank Grammy Goose for providing the St. Patrick's Day decorations.

a little bitty baby shower

I prepared all last week for a baby shower that I gave for my friend. The week before that I made invitations on card stock and colored each one individually. I passed them all out at church and then Autumn and I walked around the neighborhood hand delivering the rest. I regretted that it was under 20 degrees F. Poor Autumn's cheeks got really red.

I made tons of homemade brownies for the brownie ice cream sundaes. We had lime rickys and sliced vegetables with ranch dip. I got to use my fondue pot for the chocolate sauce. My neighbors even let us borrow their folding chairs. The picture above is of the most wonderful women in our ward who came to the shower even though some of them didn't even know my friend. I am so grateful to them and to my dear friend for letting me host the shower.
