Last night I made stir-fry using a store-bought sweet and sour sauce mix. I followed the recipe exactly and got what tasted just like Grandma Downey's tomato aspic. I thought you might like a recipe for this interesting childhood memory. Lemon jello seems to be the base ingredient in all the versions that I looked at. Enjoy!

I remember there was a large portion of Aspic left. Grandma offered to give me a quarter if I finished it off. I didn't know that I could say "I decline with thanks".
Ahhh, such memories. Does it say anything that I have never made aspic?
The ingrediants in this recipe do explain things. (this is Mandy)
