Big babies need their sleep

Autumn is a good napper. It helps if I don't have to go anywhere during naptime. Autumn is sitting up by herself (mostly). She can carefully undo the diaper that you just fastened. She's been eating rice cereal for three weeks. She looks anywhere you point to see what you are pointing at. She loves to dance and bang on the keyboard (while the demo song is playing.) She's rolling from back to side on both sides. Her eczema is clearing up now. I don't have her wear any scratchy clothing. Pants with feet are my first choice. We use ALL of the expensive creams and lotions and petroilium jelly on her at least twice a day. Last night Autumn let me put them on her with out her crying for the first time when I wore my red "Elmo Mommy" bath robe, I talked like Elmo, and we had soft lighting in her bedroom.

Aunt Amanda and lives in the Seattle area. I want to go visit her and Brendon for one of our family vacations.

A Baby Shower for Carol

Saturday evening we drove down to Layton for Carol's baby shower. She is having a boy. Many of Carol's friends came. Grandma Phillips and Aunt Diana enjoyed playing with Autumn. We are all so excited for Carol and Brian. The men (Brian, Jon, Troy, and Grandpa Phillips) hid out in the basement and watched War of the Worlds. Every once in a while someone would take a plate of the delicious goodies (made by our dear Carol) down to the basement. Mandy made it to the shower after receiving some very poor directions from me. We all had a great time. On the way home Jon, Autumn, and I drove the long way around through Beaver Dam to avoid the slick Sardine Canyon road.

Famous First Words

Autumn repeated back "ah-choo" five times in a row the other night. It did get more garbled each time she said it until it was just "sue", but at least it was on command.

Our Trip To IF

This weekend we visited my mom, the Crenshaws, and the Nimtzes in Idaho Falls. There are wonderful pictures of everyone on my mom's blog here.

Getting to Know Our Bolivian Family

Meli's cousin Sammie is getting married next month in Bountiful and Meli and Julia will be coming from Texas. A lot of the family is coming from Bolivia, so I thought I'd help you to recognize them when you see them.
